Condolence From: Samantha Pockele
Condolence: Mitch was one of the first friends I made when I started at CMHA. His wit, kindness and enthusiasm will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with Mitch's family and friends.

Condolence From: Lisa Wilson
Condolence: I first met Mitch in College where we shared a couple of classes together. Later on we ended up working together where Mitch mentor me and we became friends. We shared the same wicked sense of humour and got up to mischief. I will miss his laugh and his passion for equality and justice but mostly I will miss him.

Condolence From: Kim McPherson
Condolence: I met Mitch when he interviewed me for my first job out of University. He didn't give it to me and I had to apply again to make the grade. Mitch's integrity was apparent to me even then. A friendship developed and even though I was an adult I would count those as my formative years. Part of that growing up was through seeing Mitch's bravery and feeling his steadfast support. This helped me to find happiness that was my own and not that which had been prescribed. I know I will carry a regret that I had lost touch with someone who through their own choices carved a path for those that came after. Thinking of all of you that are grieving for Mitch at this time.

Condolence From: Fanny Dolansky
Condolence: I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn today that Mitch had passed away suddenly, my friend of more than two and a half decades as we first met in residence at Trent University now so long ago. This is a profound loss for all who loved and enjoyed his quirky sense of humour, kindness and compassion towards humans and animals, and endless desire to help others and make the world a better place. I hope time helps to lessen the pain all of us who care about Mitch are now feeling, but doesn't dull any of the wonderful memories we have.

Condolence: John,
I am truly sorry and sad to read of Mitch’s death. Although I did not know this truly unique compassionate caring guy, if he was anything like you Mitch is a chip off the GOOD block. John, know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this most difficult time.

Sincerely,
David Wells

Condolence: Words cannot Express my sadness and shock at Mitch's sudden passing. I will be forever grateful for knowing and working with such an amazing person and clinician who truly demonstrated person centered care and had an amazing gift of connecting with others. Mitch was honest, funny, kind, non judgemental and incredibly humble. Mitch had no idea how much he touched us all. He will forever be remembered. Please take the time today to tell those you care about how you feel.
