Obituary for Ronald Gordon Woolfrey

Print
Ron was so proud to be a father and was very proud of his sons. He loved to golf with Evan and fish with Justin. His great accomplishment of becoming a full time fire fighter came after 26 years of service at Northern Casket,15 years volunteering as a fire fighter and full time fire fighter in Bobcaygeon and Lindsay for 15 years. Ron was dedicated at everything he did and he did it well. Ron was an avid back yard scrabble player and bird watcher, getting chickadees to land on his hand and take a seed was the "coolest". Ron was well known for his sense of humour and willingness to help whenever he could. Everyone liked him and his closest loved him Lots! Ron will be missed so much but will always be fondly remembered with love.

Ron will be missed by his wife Jackie, sons Evan and Justin, by his sisters and brothers Steve, Heather, Bill and Janice and by his mom Ellen and predeceased by his father Roy.

In keeping with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Ron's life to be held at a later date.
