Joanne. I was shocked when I read of Brian's passing. I worked with him on the United Way board of directors. We exchanged a few good laughs over the years and he was always very supportive of me. I'm very sorry for your loss. Barb Morrissey

Dear Joanne & Family:

Our deepest sympathy & sincere condolences on the loss of dear Brian. Losing a loved one is never easy, but there should be some Joy in celebrating his kind, fruitful, meaningful and generous life. He was loved and respected by many and we feel honoured and blessed to have know him! In simple biblical terms he was indeed "a Gentle Man without guile"! To paraphrase St Paul: Brian has fought to good fight, has finished the race, has kept the Faith and has reaped his reward. May he rest in Peace! And may God's "Amazing Grace" be with you all during the difficult days ahead.
With our Love, Blessings and Hugs,
Theresa R & Paul R Wharton (friends and fellow educators from years gone by).
PS: Regretfully we could not attend the funeral due to the extreme weather and struggling with pneumonia for past five weeks..
