We are saddened at the passing of our mother Dorothea Wenham (nee Mann) on Saturday May 25, 2019. "Thea" was predeceased by her husband Maurice Wenham in 2010 and they were married for 61 years. She will be fondly remembered by her children Mark and Deborah, grandchildren Kirsten, Lindsay, Matthew and Hillary and great grandchildren Hailey, Henry and Madison. In keeping with mom's wishes, there will be no funeral. If you would like to make a donation in mom's name to the Alzheimer's Society that would be wonderful.

"We will now have to master her famous desert Pavlova in her memory!"

We were deeply saddened to learn of Thea's passing, she was a dearly loved friend for over 70 years,
in wartime England and later in Canada. She was a lovely lady in every way, with a lively personality and a great sense of humour. Maurice and Thea were a perfect match, and we were delighted when they joined us in making their new home in Ontario and we were able to enjoy their company more frequently -- especially at New Year's parties!
In more recent years, we were physically unable to get together again, but we always treasured our friendship and memories of happier days. .
Our most sincere condolences to Deborah, Mark, and Family, on the loss of such a wonderful mother, grandmother, and person.

I have wonderful memories of Aunt Thea, going as far back as the 70s when she and Maurice and Deborah and Mark were newcomers to Canada. Aunt Thea was always cheery and easy to talk to. My condolences to her family on the loss of this lovely lady. May she rest in peace.

To the best grandma i couldve ever asked for I will miss you terribly. You were the greatest cook and could do anything. I remember going to your yoga classes, teaching me how to sew, spending alot of overnights with you and papa. You were a prime example of how i want to be. I hope you can rest peacfully now and you are with papa ( and of course your old cat Bella) playing bridge with your friends. Forever i will remember you my angel xoxox Kirsten Wenham
