Goodbye Uncle Bud. I always looked up to you, (way up as a child!) as a person of class, patience and such a giving nature. My memories of Etobicoke are vague but I somewhat remember Head Lake and visits together with our families at our Grandparents for special occasions. You were a man, that despite several unexpected adversities in you life, always shone through resiliently and persevered. I have always had that in the back of my mind whenever your name came up in conversation. Although our families moving apart somewhat broke our ties there were times when the Healeys would enter my thoughts. My memories were rekindled when you came to the Soo and met my Grandson as a newborn infant and again showed you patience and caring as though it was never gone, it was inherent. Condolences to you Laura, I know you will miss you father as he had "all the right stuff".

Dear Rose and the Healey Family,
We were deeply sorry to hear of Bud passing. My husband Bruce and I walked in Cowans Bay for years and would often see Bud trimming trees, bushes, working on his yard which he took great care of. It always looked well groomed. We always stopped to say hello and chat a bit. Bud was very soft spoken a kind and gentle man I believe. Wish we had of known them better. He and Rose always waved as they passed by our home. Bud was always friendly to us. We were sorry to see Bud and Rose move from our little Community but knew it was time for them. We will always look at one of our favourite homes in the Bay and remember the Healey Family lived there. Thinking of Rose and the Healey Family and wishing you all peace and comfort in the days to come. May your fondest Memories keep your loved one in your hearts forever.

Rose,Laura and family. We were saddened to receive the phone call from Ross about Bud's passing. What a fine gentleman.we were flooded with memories of your family at the cottage.Yvonne,Jeff,Laura & Linda and Jake.I can remember Bud bringing the car into the garage for a visit with Jeff & Laura & Linda in the back seat of his car.Jeff was starting out in the music & he was kind enough to sign an autograph for our daughter Jennifer,so she could talk about it to friends. There are so many memories of your dad that it's hard to remember them all. He worked for us at the garage part time and he was such a great fellow,I never heard him say a bad work about anybody. He will be missed by all that knew him,.Roy & Kathy Cornish (Cornish Auto Service)
