We saw Neil nearly every day.
He could do math in his head, faster than a calculator.
He could back his truck and trailer into a spot that allowed him only six inches to spare
( told us this skill was honed as a kid, driving the tractor on the farm !)
He was a caring, dependable, smart and honest man who loved his family dearly.
He will be missed everyday by all of his friends and co workers at Stone RIver

Whenever I saw Neil's truck parked in my driveway, I knew that a lively conversation was underway. Neil frequently dropped by to visit Mark and talk about the most random things. I know that Neil ate 3 apples a day, he could drink coffee any time and not suffer from insomnia, he never ventured outside of Canada nor did he wish to, he was a most proud grandfather and never bothered by the drive on the 401 from Toronto to Janetville. He always smiled and never complained! Neil was a great friend to my husband Mark, and a lovely cottage neighbour to us all. We were fortunate to know Neil and hope that he continues to spread his karma to all of us. RIP Neil.
